In this course, you will use a wide range of Excel tools and features, including cell referencing and formulas, financial functions (NPV, IRR, PMT, XNPV, XIRR), logical functions (IF, AND, OR), lookup functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, XLOOKUP), data tables for sensitivity analysis, scenario manager, pivot tables and pivot charts, conditional formatting, data validation, named ranges, goal seek and solver for optimization, charting tools for visualization, and advanced functions such as OFFSET and INDIRECT for dynamic modeling.

Software Access

The Practice session requires you to set up a free demo account for the Microsoft Excel software. A guide on how to do this is provided in the Practice window with step-by-step instructions.

Pre-requisite

To get the most out of the course, learners should have:

Basic Knowledge of Real Estate Concept:

  • Understanding of basic project development stages (site acquisition, construction, marketing, sales/rental)

Yes, the course includes hands-on practice. Approximately 50% of the course time is dedicated to practical exercises. Each day consists of a mix of video lectures and practice sessions.

Can I always refer to the course content after the course duration?

Yes. All quizzes, exercises, and course materials will remain available on your profile page. However, video access will expire 1 month after your scheduled start date.

Is the schedule flexible?

Yes, you can select the schedule that best fits your availability - offering flexibility in how you distribute the course hours and days, as long as you don not exceed one month interval between the first class and the last.

How do I gain access to the software?

You can use your own software or the demo version of the software publisher. If we provide complimentary software access, you will receive access to the software either via a temporary login for SaaS applications (accessed through a browser) or through a virtual machine for standalone software - ensuring compatibility and removing your device limitations for heavy software applications.
