Project Scheduling in Real Estate

Efficient project scheduling is the backbone of successful real estate development. In this hands-on course, you’ll learn to plan, schedule, and monitor real estate projects using Microsoft Project. Through a realistic case study, you’ll translate feasibility results into a structured project plan, define tasks, allocate resources, set dependencies, and track progress.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to build complete Gantt charts, manage timelines, identify critical paths, and apply professional scheduling techniques tailored to real estate projects — ensuring your developments are delivered

Course description

Welcome to the Project Scheduling in Real Estate Course.

In this course, learners will master key tools and features of Microsoft Project essential for real estate development scheduling and control. You’ll learn to create and structure project calendars, task lists, and work breakdown structures (WBS); define task dependencies, lead and lag times, and milestones; allocate resources and manage resource leveling; use Gantt charts to visualize timelines; identify and monitor the critical path; track progress and variances; and generate professional reports for stakeholders. You’ll also explore practical tools such as baselining, task constraints, custom views, and earned value analysis to assess project performance and maintain control throughout the real estate project lifecycle.
